God is Moving in the Philippines!

Filipino children

Step back in time with us as we remember how God was moving in the Philippines in 2017! Read the news from our missionaries on what was going on!

OMS NZ Missionary, Chunillal Pema writes:

“The great revivalist Duncan Campbell once said that revival "was a community saturated with God." I love that. For the past four weeks, I have been ministering in the Philippines and seeing extraordinary results.

We have been breaking the chains of witchcraft and cannibalism that has long been a part of the history on the island of Mindoro, where Jesus Christian Ministry (JCM) with OMS NZ have planted a tribal church. They have been reaching out into every home in the village, with astounding answers to prayer. In Malolos, fifty men gave their hearts to Christ at the Drug Rehab Centre, some weeping uncontrollably on my shoulder.

At the Malolos JCM Church, I have been teaching on Revival and Spiritual Warfare with amazing response and powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit. Everywhere we go the Lord is anointing and saturating us with His presence. We are experiencing answers to many years of faithful praying.”

Regarding the amazing blessings in education, OMS missionaries Phil and Ruth Robinson writes:

“Praise God for His grace in another school year. We have celebrated the graduation of children from JCM School in Malolos and the kindergarten and sponsored students at the tribe, with some of them achieving special awards.

Along with the 4th tribe church anniversary, it's been a real time of celebration. Two girls from the tribe, along with the tribe’s kindergarten teacher attended a discipleship week in Manila. They have testified in church how God has spoken to them individually through their training.

It has been a blessing to have our kiwi friend, Pastor Chunillal, ministering with and to us here in Malolos, at the tribe, and in a drug rehabilitation center. Seeing lives changed for Jesus through discipleship is great and we thank him for being part of extending God's kingdom here in the Philippines.”

Since then, children in the tribe are thriving in their education, and there are more to come! We need more people to sponsor these children so they are able to go to school and have the required materials. If you would like to get involved, visit our contact page and flick us a message!
