Extreme Walk is a formative 10 month cross-cultural church multiplication and discipleship experience.
10 months of stretching spiritually and emotionally as a person is taken out of their natural environment and placed in a world with different values, customs, and worldviews - not to mention different language.
In these 10 months the first three are devoted to intense language acquisition and culture learning in the country on location (in my case Colombia).
After the first three months the eXtreme Walker then goes out with an ECC (Every Community for Christ) team to learn hands on, by observation and doing, with the freedom to learn from failure.
Youre probably wondering what these two programs are. The ECC program is OMSs church planting programme. It is building up national leadership within each country to plant churches and build the Kingdom of God. Extreme Walk is a short-term missions programme for young adults, where they go to different countries and work with an established ECC team to build the Kingdom of God, and let God change their lives.
Both of the programmes are incredible!
