Do you speak English?? These countries are in great need of TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) teachers to help with evangelism:
How does it work? Around the world – English has become a ‘common language’ spoken by most people. Whether in business or travel people need to know English to progress in their business or employment opportunities. Many churches on our mission fields offer conversational English classes as a method of evangelism in their community. The Lord has been blessing this ministry as many who would never hear the gospel are coming to hear for the first time that Jesus loves them and has provided for their salvation. Every class includes a ‘Chapel Time’ when the pastor or trained worker presents the claims of Christ to people enrolled in the class. People agree to this when they sign on. What are the qualifications needed? We need people who are committed Christians and are native speakers of English (ie. grown up using English as their primary language) who can go and get involved on the mission fields - helping men and women of all ages speak conversational English. Training? All training is given by us. What is involved? You will need to organise a support team to pray for you and help with the costs and commit yourself to from one month to one year to serve alongside our missionaries for a life-changing time on the mission field.
