We are proud to announce the arrival of......

Our Saraguro leaders involved in the guinea pig project are very proud of their new babies. The guinea pigs are producing their first newborns and the families are really proud and excited about it. We have to admit they are very cute. We are joking about them getting attached to them and perhaps start calling them by name. They have names picked out; like Owen, Avalon, Julia, etc, etc.

I hope they don't eat us. And we thought the days of missionaries being cooked for dinner were over!!!

 PRAISE POINTS:

* The guinea pigs are beginning to breed and grow.
* Carlos and Sulay Delgado from Colombia are a great help to the new ministry team.
* Angel Guam·n is taking up his role of leader with initiative and vision.
* We are in good health and are serving and assisting the new team through this time of adjustment.

We have to share a rather funny story with you. We had a basic church building in one community. The pigs, dogs and chickens roamed through, disregarding our worship time, but God loves all creatures! And the planks for seats become pretty hard after an hour or two or three!! Also, I am certain some critters come out of those boards and eat me for lunch.

We drove out to San Ramon for a service with the believers from that community and other areas. With us, we had the OMS Ecuador Field Leader, the ECC Ecuador leader (Leader of the Nationals working as Church Planters in Ecuador) plus the US Representative for ECC. These honoured guests were going to do a seminar on Communication, and help in the church service.

Imagine our surprise as we pull up to find the church gone and the ground all levelled by a council bulldozer!!  We have learned to be flexible in this ministry, so we just carried on like normal and arranged to meet in a room in the house.
Praise the Lord for little inconveniences!

Please pray urgently for Visa documents to be finalised for Carlos and Sulay. This is a major problem and may mean they have to return to Colombia.
